The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free those who are oppressed, to proclaim the favorable year of the Lord.   Luke 4:18-19

Sound the joyful liberty bell,
Our loving God is here to dwell,
His living water makes us well,
God is with us, Immanuel!

His prophesy won’t be undone,
He will finish what He’s begun,
He died for us, our God’s own Son,
Immanuel, the Righteous One!

To all captives, announce release,
O Holy One, pour out Your peace,
Jubilee’s trumpets greet the feast,
Immanuel, our Great High Priest!
