Revealed

By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him. 1 John 4:9

Jesus
servant, human
weeping, suffering, dying
incarnate, manifest, revealed, glorious
restoring, saving, rising
royal, divine
Christ

Romans 8:3  The written law was made weak by our sinful nature. But God did what the written law could not do. He made his Son to be like those who have a sinful nature. He sent him to be an offering for sin. In that way, he judged sin in his Son’s human body.

Hebews 2:17  Therefore he had to be made like his brothers in every respect, so that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in the service of God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.

Thanks, timbob! I hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving as well. I am a little behind on commenting. My grandma passed away and I went to her funeral just before the holidays. May the peace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you in all things. Scotti

  2. Beautiful diamante, showing first the humanity and then the divinity of Jesus. What a wonder that God would robe Himself in a body of flesh and come to this earth to be the perfect sacrifice for our sins! I hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Thanks, Carol. I was wondering if this poem would come across the way it was meant. Jesus is fully man and fully God which can be so hard to wrap our logical minds around. What an amazing God that would step down out of heaven to save His people. Praise His Holy Name. Blessings to you, Scotti

  3. Scotti…I am blessed, so blessed by this–JESUS! And Romans 8:39 has really been on my mind. God bless you!

Hi Cami, I just love how that verse says that the love of God is revealed in Christ Jesus. May He pour out His blessings upon you today and always. Scotti
