Live By Faith

For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”  Romans 1:17

Why look to man to answer your plight?
Listen to the words your Creator said.
Do you know you are precious in His sight?
For the sins of the world Christ’s blood was shed.

Wait for the Lord and He will make things right.
Never giving up on the race ahead,
In your obedience He will delight!
Trust only in God for your daily bread.

Your precious faith will be put to the test.
Stand strong in hope and refuse to give in,
Step out in love and God handles the rest.
He was, He is, and He will come again!

The just shall live by faith, keep standing tall.
Embrace His divine promises above all.

Romans 1:17 For in the Gospel a righteousness which God ascribes is revealed, both springing from faith and leading to faith [disclosed through the way of faith that arouses to more faith]. As it is written, The man who through faith is just and upright shall live and shall live by faith. (Amplified Version)

  1. Amen! Simple childlike faith. It’s a concept that we grasp rather quickly but spend the rest of our days learning to apply it in all situations.
